What better way to introduce myself than giving you 10 random facts about me:

1. Possibly the most important fact about me as it pertains to this blog is that I have never dated anyone I was physically attracted to. From my high school boyfriend to a match made via the internet, I felt nothing below the waist for them. 

2. I slept with my best friend (with whom I was in love), the sex was terrible and afterward he ghosted me to marry someone else. After two years of not speaking we got back in touch, his wife was pregnant and he’d dodge her calls as we sat in his car outside my flat, talking about life and he’d tell me he loved me and should’ve married me instead. There is more to this story. I was naïve back then.

3. I used to write Westlife fan-fiction as a teen. I’m oddly proud of this.

4. I have a condition known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The name means it’s pretty self-explanatory.

5. My favourite place to be is in a theatre at my local cinema drowning out the rest of the world. 

6. I hate Carrie Bradshaw but love Sex and the City.

7. I can’t use dating apps because I flake-out when it comes to actually meeting men in person for a combination of reasons ranging from hating how I look to a fear of them being murderers / rapists.

8. I’m not religious but I believe there is a God. Figure that one out.

9. I play with my earlobes when I’m tired or nervous. 

10. I almost died when I was 14 from being knocked down by a car after school.
